The Girlguiding South West England Silver Oak Leaf Award
The Silver Oak Leaf is presented by the Chief Commissioner to recognise and acknowledge the outstanding contribution and commitment that an adult (member or non-member) over the age of 18 has made to the promotion or advancement of Guiding within South West England. |

Star of Merit
The Star of Merit is given to any member aged between 5 and 26 years who has shown great courage and fortitude in her personal life, or initiative/responsibility at an incident. Nominations made as a result of an incident must be made within 6 months of the incident taking place. |

Chief Commissioner's Certificate of Commendation
The Chief Commissioner's Certificate of Commendation is awarded by Girlguiding South West England to a member or non-member of Girlguiding South West England who has shown outstanding courage in her/his personal life OR a Unit, a District, a Division or a County or Island who has demonstrated great commitment to Guiding in their community, or has taken part in a special project to promote Guiding. |

Laurel Award
The Laurel Award is a Girlguiding UK Award presented by the Chief Commissioner to a member (uniformed adult up to her 65th birthday) in recognition of outstanding service to Guiding, which need not be at Association level. Members nominated for this award should ideally be at least 18 months from retirement and have held an appointment within 6 months of the nomination form being received by the Region Awards Sub-Committee. |

Silver Fish
This is the highest award that can be granted by Girlguiding UK. It is awarded to a member (uniformed adult up to her 65th birthday for outstanding service to Guiding in more than one capacity and a contribution to world Guiding. Members nominated for this award should ideally be at least 18 months from retirement and have held an appointment within 6 months of the nomination form being received by the Region Awards Sub-Committee. |
